Supper Time…
For supper I had vegetarian tacos…
- brown rice with barley steamed then slowly cooked with…
- Black beans
- tomato salsa mix
- bell pepper and onions (a few)
- seasoning
Extras for the tacos
- Organic sour cream
- Cheddar aged 2 years from local dairy
- tortilla
- Fresh avocado
- Organic Salsa
And for all that effort what do I hear? ”Ewwwwwww GROSS!”
“Are there vegetables in here?”
“Did you use onion?”
“I hate sour cream”
“I’m going to eat an apple for supper instead.”
Drives me a little crazy. ;-P
Despite the good diet - I’ve been exhausted all day and not focusing. I lifted some weights but didn’t have the ‘oomph to run. I’m a bit more nervous about coming out with a clean bill of health this month after the cancer biopsy.
